Since its founding, more than 50 years ago, Motor Oil has developed one of the most flexible and efficient refineries in Europe and brought together a very experienced supply and trading operation. This combination allowed Motor Oil to consistently outperform financially and be internationally competitive. Today, it constitutes an integrated and diversified international energy group that is growing steadily and responsibly focusing on the energy of tomorrow. Historically, more than 75% of Motor Oil's refined products were exported to global markets outside of Greece, highlighting our group’s extroversion and competitive advantage.
Motor Oil's fuels operations are complemented by its retail network of more than 1,500 fuel stations across 5 countries. A network represented by the most recognized and respected brands (Avin, Shell - Coral Licensee, Coral Gas, incharge, Verd, Hellenic Hydrogen) in these markets. Electricity is one of the key pillars of the Group's significant growth and transformation, predominantly powered by Renewable Energy Sources. Operating the second largest RES platform in Greece (MORE), continues to invest dynamically and expand the business across the entire electricity value chain (nrg, Thermoilektriki, Korinthos Power). Finally, the Group is responding to the need for efficient use of resources, operating one of the largest integrated circular economy businesses (Thalis, LPC, Prasino Ladi, Helector) in Greece.
