PYMAR
PYMAR is a company established by the Spanish private shipyards to protect and boost their common interests in Spain and worldwide. It carries out its work in close collaboration with the state government and the autonomous regions where the shipbuilding and retrofitting industry mostly take place in Spain.
As managing body of the sector for the Spanish Ministry of Industry, PYMAR is a successful industrial tool of public-private collaboration which coordinates and promotes action for the benefit of one of the longest-standing industries in Spain.
Holder of BBB+ Fitch Rating, PYMAR manages key mechanisms to boost the competitiveness for the whole value chain of the Spanish shipbuilding and retrofitting industry, such as the shipbuilding guarantee fund. Its role includes the provision of technical, legal and financial/tax consultancy services to contribute to the fruition of their construction projects.
